Inspired by my cousin Lynea, who always let me use her "fancy" camera at family gatherings, and my love of capturing my own family memories from an early age, I decided to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a professional photographer. Since 2021 I've been working my ass off on top of my Barista job and loving every minute of it!✨

I love to travel! I try to as much as possible, so feel free to give me a reason! Im not super picky about where, it could be 40 minutes away or 24 hours away. I love long car rides and getting to listen to all of my favorite music. I super enjoy checking out new towns and finding the cutest small business gems! I love the water more than anything so anywhere with beachside is best of course✨ Lake Michigan is my ultimate happy place.

My Photography Story
You'll rarely see me use the word job without rolling my eyes when referring to photography. Partly, because I still don't accept fully that I get to do the thing I love everyday and that I've gotten even this far, and the other part, because I literally never feel like I'm working a JOB. I mean, I guess in ways, I do! I have paperwork and contracts and every other little detail of the behind-the-scenes stuff. But, as someone who has worked a fair share of jobs, this is NOT the same. This is my dream. This is what I want to do until I can't do anything anymore. Photography has been a part of my life since I was little. first with my Aunt, when I was 15 I got my first digital camera, and on our 1 year anniversary of dating, Frankie upgraded me to my first DSLR camera! I've been taking photos always! I got serious about putting myself out there under Younge Photography in September of 2021. Here we are now! ❤️
My style
I would consider myself a true-to-color, Vibrant, lifestyle photographer. I do some posing, but mainly I try to guide you through your session with prompts. All sessions are treated separately, as each setting, couple, family and situation is different! I truly believe that what makes my art special is not my skills or my camera, it's ME! I see the world this way and am so happy I do! I get taking photos can feel silly sometimes and I'm here to embrace that and turn it into photos with emotion that you'll remember and cherish your entire life!

If I'm not behind the camera you'll find me spending my days with my husband and fur babies usually. We have been together 10 years! Married for 6. Frankie and I are team in everything we do and I so love that about us. I believe our love is one of the biggest reasons I'm so obsessed with capturing stories so authentically! We spend a lot of time at the beach, thrifting or at the dog park with our 2 pups!
We both love being outdoors; hiking, swimming, exploring. Frankie likes to joke that I am solar powered because I thrive in the sunshine! If the sun is out, then I'll find any reason to be underneath it. If it's a gloomier day or late at night we're all usually cuddled up on the couch while I edit, or we enjoy doing puzzles and binging Hulu or Netflix.
